PLEASE don’t judge my lip swatches. I obvi need a new camera (hint hint, Sheen) and llip injections on my thin-lipless lips, but you work with what you got right? So that’s what I’m doing.

Let me start by saying, if you are sensitive to smell when wearing lipstick or lipgloss, then the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss is not the one for you.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad smell at all. It’s just a very strong scent of vanilla and cupcakes. It’s a lovely smell really, just a strong one. These are meant to be full coverage with a smooth and creamy formula. I agree to all of those claims, however of the 5 colors I have, Date Night is the least pigmented and I do find that I have to “double dip” into the tube to get my desired colored. The great thing about these glosses is the staying power. Usually, with other glosses, if you want a gloss to last, it is extremely sticky on the lips. These are a TAD sticky but nothing like the lipglass from MAC cosmetics. If a gloss is going to stay on the lips, it just has to be a bit tacky. Compared to the NYX Butter Glosses, the ABH are much more opaque and tackier. The Butter Glosses are more sheer in color and constantly need reapplication unlike these. I can get away with wearing Peony for atleast 3 hours and find the gloss has faded to a subtle hint of color to my lips. Metallic Rose is such a unique color. In the tube, it’s “ok” looking. I don’t know what it is, maybe the bits of sparkle (to make it look more metallic) in it or the rosy way it makes my lips look but this is definitely my favorite color.

Have you tried any? They have 34 different shades so there’s bound to be the perfect color for you! Thanks for reading and until next time…
