Neutral Nail Line-Up

Monday, September 8th, 2014

I don’t know about y’all but I am more than ready for Fall.  I’m ready to decorate, start drinking more hot coffee and less iced coffee, wear my booties 24/7 and I could probably go on and on but I won’t. However, I will tell you that I have already got my nail color selection lined up and ready to go and I might have already worn every single color.. What can I say? I love to switch  my nail color. Each nail color and brand is listed with a link below but I also wanted to show you how to recreate this backward French triangle mani. It’s simple, like super super simple.

Step 1. Make sure you have your favorite Fall color or colors ready to go along with some nail art line tape.  I found my first tape colors at Wal-Mart but then I looked at amazon and found 30 different colors for less than $2.00 (now that’s a steal if I ever did see one)!

Step 2. Cut nail art tape into two separate pieces about 1 inch long and place the tip of each one into a triangle formation with your cuticle bed.

Step 3. Paint a base coat on your nail but not below the tape.

Step 4. Using your color choice, paint 2-3 coats onto your nail but again, not below the tape.

Step 5. Remove nail tape after you have finished painting. You don’t want to let it sit or the polish will come up with the tape.

Step 5. Paint your favorite top coat on the entire nail, after 3 minutes of removing the tape.

And that’s it! Easy enough right? I hope you enjoyed this mani post and let me see your work by using the hashtag #bfdxnails

Until next time friends!
