This winter has been mind numbingly cold. I don’t know about you, but for me that means EXTRA dry skin. Which is out of the normal considering I have oily skin. I thought I would put together for ya’ll a few of my best beauty tips and tricks to help cure those winter blues.
If one has oily skin, they typically like to stay away from any kind of or foundations that have oils in them. HOWEVER, ladies (and gentlemen), trust me when I say this, OILS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND. I was so weary about trying them, thinking that it would just make me even oilier than I already am. Low and behold, it’s just the opposite. Replenishing your face with oils helps balance out your natural oils. We “oilers” stay away from any oils and as an end result, this actually drys your face out. Using oils or moisturizes with oils in them helps keep your face hydrated. If your face is extra dry, I first recommend this Boscia Beauty Oil. Use this a couple a nights of week after you wash your face at night and before you go to bed and your skin will look glorious in the morning!

My next suggestion is another oil. It is lighter than the one posted above, so I like to use this in the mornings after I wash my face and before my make-up. It works as a primer and makes your skin glow. If you feel like maybe oils would be absolutely positively the wrong thing for you, try this one. It is a very light formula so although it is hydrating it’s not too over-hyrdrating.

My hands are usually the first thing to dry up. They dry up all the time and I loathe the feeling. I almost always have some type of lotion in every single purse I carry. I found this beauty this last summer when I was around water 24/7 and needed something to keep my hands hydrated. It was actually my mother who told me about this glorious product and now I am forever grateful.

Lips, lips, lips, lips, lips. I love lips. I am never not wearing a lippie. That being said, my lips can get very dehydrated. At night time, I usually lather them up with a balm that is very moisturizing. This product is a recent find but is easily a forever find as long as they keep making it!

Lastly, after washing my face and it feels a bit tight and just needs a hint of moisture, this is what I turn to. This is a sample I received, an awfully big one but believe me, I am NOT complaining!
